GeoMT Research Group’s Ph.D. student Anil Ekici received Geosynthetic Institute fellowship (5000 USD) in July 2016. Anil’s Ph.D. research is on “Interaction of Marginal Fills and Geogrids for Reinforced Soil Walls and Slopes”. Congratulations to Anil for this fellowship!

GSI’s worldwide call for requests-for-proposals was focused on relevant topics of interest and/or concern to the geosynthetics community. GSI is an international consortium of organizations interested in and involved with geosynthetics. It was founded by Professor Robert M. Koerner, who is a pioneer and authority in geosynthetic materials.
